Seeing as I haven't edited here for weeks, I thought I might as well explain - I'm leaving. There are a few reasons for this, the most important of which is my real life - due to a recent change I'm not going to be spending as much time on internet wikis in general - not just Liberapedia.

I joined Liberapedia in November 2008 a while after finding Conservapedia, seeing it as a way to express whatever it was I needed to express with the site along with other people who had had the same experiences. While this is what I used LP for - and I had a great time writing articles in my first couple of months - I found RationalWiki in April 2009, which was a larger community of anti-Conservapedians. I felt that this site was a better way to express my anti-Conservapedia stance than Liberapedia, as it was set up in direct response to Conservapedia, whereas Liberapedia took a more liberals-are-good, conservatives-are-bad kinda stance. This isn't slagging off Liberapedia, as like I said I loved writing tongue-in-cheek articles from a liberal standpoint. However, this was my main type of contribution, and I'm simply not going to have the time to write articles like I did in my early days.

To Proxima Centauri

Thanks for everything you've helped me with, as you were the first wiki user I met, and I genuinely hope you don't feel too sore about me leaving here, especially after suggesting me as a sysop, which I still thank you for. Just to let you know, I don't care what some of the RationalWikians say about you, I don't think anything less of you because of your history there. Thanks for everything.
