Pink floyd

Pink Floyd in the early days

Pink Floyd were an English Psychedelic rock band from Cambridge.

To many they are the best band in the world ever. They have had three front men. Many think the best was Syd Barrat, but he went mad in the late '60s. In the early '70s Rodger Waters took over although David Gilmour did a lot of the singing, to many David Gilmour is best Guitar player to ever walk the earth, in the early '80s Waters left and David Gilmour carried on with the band, despite Waters disapproval.

Some of their better known songs include Arnold Layne; Set the Controls To the Heart of the Sun; the knome; Another Brick in the Wall (part two); Wish You Where Here; Pigs on the Wing, Money; Time, Welcome to the Machine; The Dogs of War and Comfortably Numb.

They were also pretty damn Left-wing, Socialists if we want to be more accurate.
