The Libertarian Party is a third party in the United States, founded in 1971, and the third largest political party, but largest in terms of elected officials. While it is socially liberal in the cases of sex, drugs, and rock and roll, it is economically regressive, even worse than Republicans and Constitution Party. They believe in privatizing all businesses, a flat tax rate, or zero taxes, and believe that tariffs will be able to pay for everything taxes are for, although ones that believe in Free Trade don't even want tariffs.
It was the 4th largest in terms of registered people in 2012.
You have to pay $25 a year to be in the party.
