Florida is in the red.

Florida is one of the 50 states within the United States, it is the third most-populated state, behind Texas and California. It is bordered by Georgia to the north and Alabama to the north and west.

Florida is one of the problem states in the U.S. because of all the Rednecks, NASCAR, Fundamentalist Christians, Pensacola Christian College, Donald Trump, Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Rick Scott, racist Neighborhood Watchers, school shootings, oppressive heat, hurricanes, drugs, crime and the threat of global warming to the state.

Florida is also notorious for having the worst ballot counting system in the world. It wasn't always like this, but it has definitely become more prevalent in recent decades. Its election results are often very close, and unfortunately tend to lean Republican. One particular example is the 2000 U.S. Presidential Election, when Texas Cowboy George W. Bush, the United States Supreme Court, and Florida Secretary of State Katherine Harris stole the state and the election from Al Gore. On election day that year, Florida first went for Al Gore. Then it went for Bush and ultimately won him the election. Then this was dropped and the official results remained unanswered, until the Supreme Court ended the recount process in December and gave Bush the win.

Florida's trend of not making up their minds continued after that and up to the present day. While it did vote for Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012, the results in Florida in those elections were still close. After that, Donald Trump swung Florida back to Republican. On average, Florida tends to lean conservative, and seems to be getting more conservative with all the conservative Retirees moving there.

Senators

Since 2019, Florida has two Republican senators (sadly), Rick Scott (since 2019) and Marco Rubio (since 2011).
