Election day, in the United States of America, refers to the day (usually the first Tuesday of November) where less than half of the citizens get together to decide what color the place they live should be painted. Presidential Elections happen every leap year. Although the years 2100, 2200 and 2300 will not be leap years, there will still be presidential elections those years.
Anyways, once everyone (a minority) has picked what color their home should be on the map, a candidate who has pasted his or her (usually his) name on everything he or she could get his or her hands on in the past few months gets picked for an office based on his or her favorite color.
Usually people pick between Red (the color of blood) and Blue (better than red, but not really that liberal), because everyone has agreed that Black is a too cool color and no one is allowed to vote for it.
