Common Sense was a pamphlet written by Thomas Paine in January of 1776, early in the American Revolutionary War; it was one of the few exciting occurrences of this era.

Common sense is also known as "sound and prudent judgment based on a simple perception of the situation or facts"[1]

Common sense is also known as something Conservatives lack completely. A strange thing is that common sense isn't all that common. In some places (such as Washington D.C.) it can be classified as rare (but not non-existent). While in Red States, common sense is nowhere to be seen.
