Bread is a food made from flour (usually wheat but sometimes other grains such as rye), Water, yeast and usually Salt. The yeast makes bread rise and gives it a light airy texture.

Bread is used in making sandwiches and in other ways. Other food eaten with bread generally becomes tasty and filling.

Whole-wheat bread is healthy as it's high in complex carbohydrates but white bread is less healthy. Too much bread is fattening. If bread is used to make something like the less healthy type of Burger that’s still unhealthy.
