Beacon College is an private institute of higher learning located in Leesburg, Florida, consisting of around 300 students. It is one of only two colleges in the United States exclusively for students with learning differences such as ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism (Landmark College, Vermont). The current president is George Hagerty.

Background and History

In 1989, Beacon College was founded and became the first institution of higher learning in the United States to offer Bachelor's Degrees to students exclusively to LD's. Value Penguin had Beacon College as the "best value among private schools in Florida" in 2013. Their graduation rate is above 80% [1].
